
SORRT partners and collaborators
The core SORRT partnership is constituted by the four facilities with
overall coordination by the University
of Sydney Library. These partners are: PARADISEC,
the endangered cultures archive, the Spatial
Science Innovation Unit/Archaeological Computing Lab, the Centre
for Innovation in Professional Health Education (CIPHE), medical image banks,
and the Library's Scholarly
Electronic Text and Image Service (SETIS).
Other collaborators within the University of Sydney include the Web
Engineering Group (Faculty of Engineering), the Plant Sciences Group
(Faculties of Science and Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources), University
Archives, University
Museums and Collections, the Faculty
of Architecture and the Department
of Archaeology.
SORRT will also be working closely in developing it deliverables with
APSR partners the NLA and APAC
SORRT is working within, and drawing upon, the broad context of communities
addressing these issues including the FRODO
projects, particularly MAMS
and ARROW and international initiatives
such as the Digital Curation Centre
in the UK.
